Dr Jill Edmondson

I graduated in 2000 with a BSc in Natural Environmental Science from the University of Sheffield and then obtained an MSc in Environmental Management for Conservation and Recreation from Sheffield Hallam University. I was then employed by the Countryside Council for Wales as a marine GIS officer. I started my PhD, entitled ‘Nitrogen pollution and the ecology of heather moorland’, in 2003 at Manchester Metropolitan University and completed this in 2007. Since April 2007 I have been employed by the University of Sheffield as a research technician, moving into the BIOME research group in April 2008.
